Policies For The Leicester PLE Project Blog

Posted by Brian Kelly (UK Web Focus) on February 28, 2008

I’m pleased to have been invited to contribute to the Leicester PLE Project blog.

As the project is about information literacy skills I think it will be important that this blog demonstrates best practices. Some suggestions for this:

  • Have a (brief) blog policy which describes the scope of the blog, its target audiences, etc. - e.g. see the UK Web Focus blog policy.
  • Have a preservation policy for the contests of the blog, after the project finishes.
  • Have a dissemination strategy for the project, which includes the role of the blog.

Hope this is useful.
